Is this a good wedding offer ,please help ,?

I'm getting married next October and amazed at how expensive things are for our wedding day.Everything from table decorations ,topiary trees, top table decorations, tulle bows etc.

I have just come accross a local family run business offering this package which sounds a really great bargain for me to hire from them.

4 fully decorated artificial 4ft topiary trees

15 peony and crystal table centres

15 large twinkle tulle bows centred with the same peonies and crystals

4 x 70cm lily vases and tall peony arrangements

24 ft of ivy to decorate the top table and cake table

2 very large handle wicker baskets with same peonies %26amp; crystals and ivy

3 x large handle baskets dressed with ribbons and full bows

We can multi use these throughout the day and evening reception.

To buy allof these would cost me £852.00 and the total hire price is only £199.00

Do you think this is a good offer as with never organising a wedding before we are not too sure?

Is this a good wedding offer ,please help ,?
This sounds like a very good offer but check the small print about any breakages or damages. For example, if someone takes home a table arrangement without realising you're hiring them, how much will you be charged for replacement value?

Never accept it at face value but check and check again any terms and conditions that you have to sign, and deposits you may have to pay.
Reply:I got married last Sept %26amp; organised the whole thing myself. Our wedding was proper white wedding in a church, reception was in a marquee with buffet for afternoon %26amp; hogroast in eve with band and disco. Our total was approx £6000 altogether (not including honeymoon).

Our flowers alone were £600 and they were minimal for the church and head table decs only- definatley sounds like a bargain what you have been offered!

Also look around for wedding stuff as most places have really decent stuff in the sales (just because it is last season) my wedding dress was from debenhams %26amp; only £400 as standard. My mum got married this march and her dress was nicer than mine and was under £300 in the sale at a bridal shop!

Look on ebay as well as loads of people (inc myself) sell loads of wedding stuff off to recoup costs- wedding shoes, tiaras, accessories and so on. celebrationsplus.co.uk is brilliant for all sorts of invites/ table placings and so on for all budgets.

The best advice i could give to you is to set up a big folder with haadings for everything and all your notes and stuff you find online/ in magazines. The you can keep track of what you need, what you have sorted and budget.
Reply:It sounds like a good deal - but what is the catch? Are the flowers fake? Real flowers would cost alot more I would think.

YOu might want to check into the cost to do these things yourself and see what the difference is..

And ask them lots of questions about the contract and go over the fine print with a fine tooth comb - Are the flowers real? Are they setting this stuff up, or just providing it to you to set up? Will the arrangements be made with fresh flowers? Etc. Etc. Do they store these things in cold storage for you right up until the wedding?
Reply:I think dis is a good offer.ill accept it if i were u.just ask ur partner before making dat decision.
Reply:Sounds like a bargain to me.
Reply:sounds like a good deal, we are known as bargin hunters as we got our dream wedding for under £3,500
Reply:It's a great offer, since where I live something like that could cost up to a thousand pounds - if not more. Because of this, I am doing my own table and church decorations in the evening before and on the morning of our ceremony! :-(((

But do read the small print - that's very good advice.
Reply:I would really look into it becuase deals like that are sometimes too good to be true. I would go down there and talk to them and ask to see these things first. do they look nice or cheap becuase if they re-use them after each wedding they might not be in such great shape anymore. also, I agree with finding out all the terms and conditions about what it costs you if something gets broken or if someone takes something home with them. you can never be too sure and you dont want to be forking out like $500 if something is broken. if after checking it all out everything seems good then congrats on finding a great deal!
Reply:Sounds very resonable. Why buy when you can hire?? Most people just leave the flowers and decor behind after the wedding.

If they are in Yorkshire give me their number !! Go for it
Reply:I agree with Clare B England but also try to get some references from others who have hired or use the firm.
Reply:If you'd ask me, I would say yes for sure!!

Exelent!
Reply:None of this stuff is necessary. Don't have any of it and save yourself a fortune.
Reply:i really dont understand how your money system works(sorry) but as long as it includes everything for under $10,000.00 including food, thats a great deal, anything more, do your research
Reply:That sounds very cheap, i'm jealous!!!
Reply:You should jump at this offer! Ive never been married but great offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
