Peony bouquet?

Has anyone used Peony's in their bouquet/bouquets? I recently discovered these flowers and they are beautiful! I was wondering if they are considered a more expensive flower?

Peony bouquet?
Peonies are in season now, so they may cost a bit more out of season. They are so large, however; that you will only need a few. They have a wonderul rosy smell, which you have discovered and you will be reminded of your wedding day each time you smell them. They are delicate, so don't kepp them out of water too long, but your florist can take care of all that.
Reply:They're beautiful, but tend to lose petals. Don't use ones from a garden, as they'll be full of ants. No, they're an average kind of flower.
Reply:Beautiful, they may be seasonal though....
Reply:Peonies are in season here in Ohio until Memorial Day. After that I don't know how expensive they would be. They are a wonderful fragrant flower. Any flower that isn't 'in season' is gonna cost more. Especially if they have to be shipped to your part of the country.

In our back yard, we had 60 of those flowering bushes and every spring I took, whichever teacher I had, beautiful bouquets of peonies.
Reply:Peonies are beautiful. However, be sure to get them from a florist rather than cutting them from someone's yard. Ants are attracted to the smell, and so you may end up with a few unwanted guests! Best wishes!
Reply:ohhh i wanted to use that for my wedding last month but they weren't in season ;(. i've seen them being used as bouquet in a lot of wedding websites but i heard they don't last long so you better check with the florist ;)
Reply:They make extraordinarily beautiful bouquets. They remind me of old English cabbage type roses, so full and lush. They also come in such soft colors that they lend themselves perfectly to most bridal arrangements. They are just now blooming in many parts of the country. Buying in season flowers is of course much cheaper than if you have to have them imported at off-season times.
Reply:I love, love, love Peonies! They smell fantastic and I bet they're fairly cheap too. I'd like to have some in my yard but they're ant heaven cause they smell so sweet.
Reply:They are pretty expensive but they are very pretty and a good size so you won't need alot to make a big bouquet. Hope this helps.
Reply:They are an average, middle range costing flower...but REALLY beautiful I think :)
