good call by previous poster!
Reply:It's an herbaceous peony, but what cultivar is hard to know. The flower itself would be considered an "anemone bomb" because of the shape of the outer large petals and the inner ones that are a big poof.

It looks kinda like 'Bowl of Beauty', which is a really popular one. Did you buy it recently? If so, from where?

To keep them from flopping over you can go to Walmart, or any garden shop, and buy peony hoops. They have 3 legs that go into the ground and a hoop that can be opened and closed to get around the peonies, they also help hold them up off the ground. The hoops are $1.79 to $3 at Walmart. You can also try supporting them with bamboo poles posted long the line of peonies and tying twine as a support.

it a cultivated hybrid Peony, in lavender or pink
Reply:My neighbors put tomato cages over the plants when they are about 6 in tall, then the plants don't fall over. Those peonies are pretty.
