summers.. is this the condition they grow in in the wild? actual type is double fluffy "peony type" organic red poppies.
Is may 14 too late to sow oriental poppies in south louisiana? i mean will they bloom? we have long HOT humid?
They'll very likely still bloom later this summer. Using a root starter formula will increase the chances. In south Louisiana, do not plant them in full sun or in soil that is constantly wet.
